Born and bred in Newcastle and having played in bands for a number of years I’ve grown up in and around the underground music scene of the North East. My passion for both music and photography led me to document the raw emotion present in those dark, dingy rooms, where ears are assaulted by screeching guitars, eyes are blinded by pulsing strobes and the energy in the room is palpable.
